मेरी शोहरत मेरे पिता की वजह से है,
पापा आप मेरा वो गुरूर है जिसे कोई नहीं तोड़ सकता।
बिता देता है एक उम्र औलाद की हर आरजू पूरी करने में,
उसी पिता के कई सपने बुढ़ापे में लावारिस हो जाते हैं।
उसके आदर्श है उसके संस्कार हैं,
बिन पिता के तो जीवन ये बेकार है।
कंधों पर झुलाया कंधों पर घुमाया,
पापा की बदौलत ही मेरा जीवन खूबसूरत बन पाया।
वो जमीन मेरी वो ही आसमान है,
वो खुदा मेरा वो ही भगवान है,
क्यों मैं जाऊं उसे कहीं छोड़ के,
पापा के कदमों में सारा जहान है।
जब मैं सुबह उठा तो कोई बहुत थक कर भी काम पर जा रहा था वो थे पापा।

मेरी रब से एक गुज़ारिश है,
छोटी सी लगानी एक सिफारिश है,
रहे जीवन भर खुश मेरे पापा,
बस इतनी सी मेरी ख्वाहिश है।
बिना उसके ना एक पल भी गंवारा है,
पिता ही साथी है, पिता ही सहारा है।
बेमतलब सी दुनिया में वह ही हमारी शान हैं,
किसी शख़्स के वजूद की पिता ही पहली पहचान हैं।
परिवार के चेहरे पे ये जो मुस्कान हंसती है,
पिता ही है जिसमें सबकी जान बसती है।
ना रात दिखाई देती है ना दिन दिखाई देते हैं,
पिता को बस परिवार के हालात दिखाई देते हैं।
हैँ समाज का नियम भी ऐसा पिता सदा गम्भीर रहे,
मन मे भाव छुपे हो लाखोँ, आँखो से न नीर बहे।
करे बात भी रुखी-सूखी, बोले बस बोल हिदायत के,
दिल मे प्यार है माँ जैसा ही, किंतु अलग तस्वीर रहे।।
न हो तो रोती हैं जिदे, ख्वाहिशों का ढेर होता हैं,
पिता हैं तो हमेशा बच्चो का दिल शेर होता हैं।
पिता हारकर बाज़ी हमेशा मुस्कुराया,
शतरंज की उस जीत को मैं अब समझ पाया।
नसीब वाले हैं जिनके सर पर पिता का हाथ होता हैं,
ज़िद पूरी हो जाती हैं सब गर पिता का साथ होता हैं।
दुनिया की भीड़ में सबसे करीब जो है,
मेरे पापा मेरे खुदा मेरी तकदीर वो है।
मेरा साहस मेरा सम्मान है पिता,
मेरी ताकत मेरी पहचान है पिता।
पापा है मोहब्बत का नाम,
पापा को हजारों सलाम,
कर दे फिदा जिंदगी,
आए जो बच्चों के काम।
चुपके से 1 दिन रख आऊं,
सभी खुशियां उनके सिरहाने में,
जिन्होंने एक अरसा बिता दिया,
मुझे बेहतर इंसान बनाने में।
बिन बताए वह हर बात जान जाते हैं,
मेरे पापा मेरी हर बात मान जाते है।
मुझे मोहब्बत है,
अपने हाथ की सब उंगलियों से,
ना जाने किस उंगली को पकड़ के,
पापा ने चलना सिखाया होगा।
वह सारा दिन मेहनत करता रहा चार पैसे कमाने को,
ताकि खिलौने खरीद सके बच्चों का दिल बहलाने को।
जिसने अपनी सारी उम्र गवा दी मेरी खुशियां कमाने में,
और मैं दो प्यार भरे लफ्ज़ भी न बोल सका उसके घर आने पे।
